You may recall that I recently went out to Zen Luxury Nail & Beauty Bar to experience a fish pedicure–which was fab, by the way. Well, I guess I can count myself among the lucky few who got to experience one before the state banned them due to “health and safety” concerns. Not that anyone has been hurt by them, but as Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Spokeswoman Susan Stanford said, “It’s within the realm of possibilities.” And I had already bought a gift certificate for my BFF. Alas. At least she’ll get a helluva pedicure. That’s something that will never change at Zen.
