I found myself stranded at home with nothing to snack on this afternoon, so I bundled up, and trekked over to my corner 7-Eleven. I had an intense craving for some good beer, meat, and cheese. Surely I would have to settle for something less appetizing. Perhaps a hunk of beef jerky and a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos? Boy was I wrong.

After some browsing, I found everything I needed (and more) for an adequate charcuterie board. Sure, it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. But it wasn’t the worst either. Here’s what I pulled together.

The charcuterie:
Mary’s Gone Crackers (gluten free)
Breton Original Crackers
Busseto genoa salami
Busseto prosciutto
Sartori Merlot BellaVitano
Castello havarti with garlic
Kraft sharp cheddar cheese
7-Eleven almonds
7-Eleven dried fruit blend
Chocolove almond and sea salt dark chocolate

I also picked up a bottle La Fin Du Monde and Lindemans Cassis Lambic for good measure.

Not every 7-Eleven or corner store is going to have the same products. But each has its own selection of crackers, cheeses, and deli meats. So, grab whatever catches your eye, and have fun with it.
