Bangarang Ball, a “slightly dysfunctional idea of fun” will take place at Garden Café on Sunday, September 28. I think these chefs have flipped their lids.

What happens when chefs Graham Dodds, Justin Box, Nicole Gossling, Scott Tobey, and Mark Wootton put their heads together and invite some real clowns, creative designer Ben Lewis of Lost Angles and the band Rye Boys to combine their talents for one night of fun? In short, you get Bangarang Ball. Specifically, they offer this:

A wild and crazy dinner set in an environment unlike anything else. Drawing inspiration from Neverland and many other strange places (some not fit to print), the restaurant’s kitchen garden will be transformed. The slightly wacky, definitely exciting menu will complement the truly unique aesthetics of Ben Lewis, who will create a carnival fit for the Lost Boys. As if all that wasn’t enough, the entertainment will ne’er run dry with performances and art on display from Dallas’s children of the underground.

This “slightly dysfunctional idea of fun” will take place at Garden Café on Sunday, September 28 from 6pm to 12am-ish. Deep Ellum Brewing Co. will provide the beer and Whistlepig Whiskey will provide the booze for the house cocktail. They will offer wine but, as usual, you can bring your own.  RSVP with your $85 here in advance or pay $100 at the door.
