Here’s a little sports trivia for you club-swinging readers: there are over 100 PGA and LPGA Tour players who eat Kingmade Beef Jerky. Why? Perhaps it’s because McKinney resident and profession golf caddie, Jeff King, decided to make his own jerky with a “Superior Sustenance for Active Sophisticates” sensibility and distribute it to his professional friends. King lists Matt Kuchar, Davis Love III, Ricky Fowler, Dustin Johnson, Graeme McDowell, Candie Kung, Yani Tseng, Azahara Munoz and Jane Park as a few who enjoy this healthy, high protein snack. He also mentioned Tiger Woods, but I don’t really hold him in the Active Sophisticates category.
Currently King makes three flavors if that is how you describe jerky: Sweet Chili Pepper, Classic, and Buffalo Style. The product is available online.
