Yay! We made it to Friday! That means we can look forward to the weekend, happy hour, and some thoughts from our friend Jim Williamson over at ID Collection. He says, “Last night, I had a dream that I wrote a screenplay for Sex and the City 3. It was pretty good, if I do say so myself. It involved restaurants, royalty, and revenge. Why did I dream about SATC? Maybe because I was hungry when I went to bed, and Carrie looks like she could use a potato. Whatever the reason, it was much better than SATC 2. (Ed note: Not a huge feat.) Then I had a dream about a hamburger, and that was pretty good, too! So what does any of that have to do with the Rene chair? Well, like SATC, this chair is kind of sexy—with its curved arms and tailored details, and it is we made in our city by R. Jones. Plus, I think it would look great in Carrie and Big’s place. Or even your place. (Ed note: I agree!) I’m off to Maple and Motor for a burger while you all think about sexy furniture for your space.”
