What a time to be alive indeed.

First up is the guy who started from the bottom, Drake. The Degrassi star-turned-Grammy Award-winning-rapper will be at the American Airlines Center on July 21, for the second stop of his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future, as well as undisclosed “special guests.” Drake will be touring in support of his upcoming album Views from the 6. We’d also expect to hear some songs from What A Time To Be Alive, his 2015 collaboration with Future. And we wouldn’t be surprised if the concert includes awkward dancing and perhaps a gray turtleneck sweater. Drake likes those things together.

Also announced this week: The seminal electronic group Kraftwerk will make a stop at the Bomb Factory on Sept. 10. The German band has been cultivating its innovative and highly influential sound since 1970. Known for it synthesis of man and machine, Kraftwerk’s 3-D concert will mix technology, visuals, and music to create a distinctive musical experience. Kraftwerk’s style transcends categorization, being a trendsetting mix of electronica, synth-pop, and hip-hop. Kraftwerk has a history of quickly selling out and hasn’t performed in Dallas in decades, so be ready to secure a ticket.

Tickets for Drake and Kraftwerk each go on sale Friday at 10 am.
