Was That the Best Time of Year to Go? November was perfect for us.
Why I Went There: It was always a dream of mine to visit a glamorous well-known getaway for Hollywood stars and millionaires in 1950s: Las Brisas Resort, a pink and white paradise. Private pools in each suite with beautiful flowers floating around, a “Magic Box” where breakfast is delivered every morning, little pink jeeps that everybody gets to drive around the hilly resort. And of course, breathtaking views of Acapulco Bay, day and night.

We Stayed Here: Las Brisas Resort
You Won’t Want to Miss: Watching Acapulco cliff divers at night—scary and amazing at the same time. And, of course, a romantic sunset cruise.
Eat Here: Pampano restaurant, with amazing bay views, people watching, and Sinatra tunes. Sidrus is a beautiful way to spend your night while enjoying Lebanese cuisine.
Play Here: Arguille Lounge, which is actually a huge patio at Sidrus that turns into a sophisticated nightclub at night, with a DJ spinning Top 40, plus a beautiful crowd.
If I Went Again: I’d just find a way to spend a few more days there!
