Pay increases for hospital and health systems executives and managers were slightly lower in 2012, according to a survey by Sullivan, Cotter and Associates.
Salaries rose 2.5 percent, compared with 2.8 percent the previous year.
“Moderate salary-increase budgets continue to be the trend—the reported data indicate projected manager and executive salary increase budgets will hover around 3 percent,” noted Sullivan Cotter Managing Principal Tom Pavlik, in a statement. “In addition, we saw a decline in the number of systems and hospitals that provided no salary increases last year.”
