Twilite Lounge hosts a special karaoke session Thanksgiving night.

The jewel on Uptown’s outskirts becomes The Grand Stoneleigh Hotel (or Zissou’s Belafonte, or a Moonrise Kingdom campground) for a Wes Anderson-themed penthouse costume party on the 11th floor. DJ Blake Ward’s in charge — this is the latest in a string of themed soirees he’s orchestrated at the space — with special guest Jonathan Ackerman. Tickets are $5 until 50 are sold. Then they’re $10. Friday night, 10:30pm start.

Lucky stars Harry Dean Stanton as a 90-year-old atheist still on the trail toward meaning in this existential directorial debut of John Carroll Lynch.
