Date Night

OK, I know it’s a bit ambitious for us to go to a movie at midnight (I am usually in PJ’s by 8pm with my kids) but I will make an exception for Taxi Driver on the big screen. Grab dinner at Kathleen’s Sky Diner and then head over to the Inwood’s retro cocktail lounge and hang there while you wait for the midnight feature.

7.22 / Taxi Driver / Inwood Theatre / 11:59pm

Gustafer Yellowgold’s Infinity Sock Tour

To celebrate the release of the 3rd Gustafer Yellowgold CD/DVD “Infinity Sock”, Morgan Taylor and family will be hosting a “Gustafer Craft Party” as well as a Gustafer/Morgan performance at Good Records.  There will be a “How To Draw Gustafer” demo with paper, pencil, and colors for the little ones. Since his creation by Morgan Taylor in 2005, Gustafer Yellowgold has become an international phenomenon, acclaimed by The New York Times, which described Gustafer as “A cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss.”

7.23 / Good Records / 1808 Greenville Ave / 12 noon

Basically Beethoven Summer Festival
