Duke Realty’s Dallas office is moving forward with the construction of two medical office buildings in Texas for Scott & White Healthcare, the largest multi-specialty physician group in the state. The projects, under way in College Station and Marble Falls, will be fully leased by Scott & White for its employed physicians and clinical outpatient services.

The College Station clinic will be a four-story, 120,000-square-foot building on the campus of a prospective143-bed acute care hospital. It will include obstetrics/gynecology services, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, expanded rehabilitation and therapy services, and a comprehensive sleep center. The College Station Medical Clinic and hospital are slated for completion in the third quarter of 2013.

The Marble Fallas Center will include a three-story, 66,500-square-foot Scott & White Specialty Care Clinic, to be located at the Wayne & Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center in addition to a planned 60-bed hospital. The MOB will house multiple primary care, urgent care, and specialty and diagnostic clinics. The project is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2013; the adjacent Scott & White hospital will be open by the fall of 2014.

One of Duke’s signature local projects is the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas.
