Michelle Gardner, Chief Financial Officer

Michelle Gardner previously served as finance director for Fujitsu America, and as CFO for Venturity Financial Partners. Gardner will lead The Richards Group’s newest management team in overseeing all finance and accounting. As CFO, she will help TRG manage all financial challenges—from talent retention and compensation to maintaining profitability for growth. Gardner’s appointment makes TRG’s leadership team majority female.

Denton County Transportation Authority

Raymond Suarez, Retired

Raymond Suarez

Since Raymond Suarez joined DCTA as the COO in 2014 and rose to CEO in 2018. He has led the agency through the legislative reconstitution of its board and was instrumental in strengthening relationships with Dallas Area Rapid Transit and Trinity Metro. Most recently, Suarez helped DART construct a joint rail facility to support the DCTA A-train and DART Silver Line operations. Suarez will retire as of March 31, and deputy CEO Paul Cristina will assume the role of interim CEO. The board will soon begin discussions around Suarez’s replacement.

Camden Homes

Cyrus Zadeh, Chief Executive Officer

Formerly COO of Camden Homes, Cyrus Zadeh will now lead the private homebuilding company. Prior to joining Camden Homes in 2007, Zadeh served as assistant committee clerk and legislative aide for Texas lobbyist Tony Goolsby. Zadeh will take charge of day-to-day operations, helping invest in single-family rentals and mortgages. He will also maintain relationships with affiliated partners, including CooperZadeh, a property management and land development company.

Rudy Solis, Chief Operating Officer

Previously serving as sales director in the Dallas and Houston area for more than two years, Rudy Solis has been promoted to help Camden Homes provide entry-level housing throughout Texas. Before joining Camden, Solis served as VP of operations in Nashville, at Houston-based LGI Homes, a role he rose to after joining the company in 2013.

SBI

Howard Reba, Chief Financial Officer

In his new role at Dallas-based advisory firm for companies going to market, SBI, Howard Reba will oversee financial stewardship duties for the company and act as an advisor and partner. Reba most recently served as head of portfolio finance at CI Capital Partners. Prior to that, he was a finance operating partner at Marlin Equity Partners and served as the CFO of three early-stage technology companies, most notably Tradeware Global Corp., a broker-neutral SaaS provider.

Propelled Brands

Scott Krupa, Vice President of Franchise Development

In his new role, Scott Krupa will advance growth opportunities, proprietary sales processes, and more for Carrollton-based Propelled’s three franchise brands. Krupa joined FASTSIGNS, Propelled’s founding brand, in 2015, developing the franchise prior to Propelled Brands becoming its corporate umbrella. He then served as senior franchise development for NerdsToGo, a brand Propelled recently acquired, for two years.

Cody Dixon, Managing Director, Tax Technology and Automation

Cody Dixon most recently served as tax director at Dallas-based PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading a tax technology consulting and software development team focused on tax depreciation and fixed asset solutions. He specializes in extracting data from enterprise resource planning systems and applying that information to tax considerations facing clients.

Westmount Realty Capital

Julie Butticarlo, Senior Director of Asset Management

Since joining Westmount Realty’s Dallas office in 2018 as director of asset management, Julie Butticarlo has worked in various markets in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Ohio, Dallas, and Minneapolis. Butticarlo has become a top producer for the company, completing more than 90 transactions totaling 3.4 million square feet. Prior to joining Westmount, Butticarlo served as commercial REO marketing manager at Beal Bank for seven years.

Ginny Goldsmith, Senior Director of Property Management

Ginny Goldsmith has implemented various best practices for the Dallas commercial property management team as well as helped reorganize the firm’s property management team in Chicago, and more, since joining Westmount in 2017 as director of property management. Goldsmith previously worked as senior property manager for almost three years at Colony Capital.

Barbara Georgakis, Senior Controller

Since joining Westmount Realty in 2015 as corporate controller, Barbara Georgakis has led commercial accounting, tax, treasury, and technology teams. Georgakis served as controller at Harwood International for 17 years prior to joining Westmount, and as accounting manager and trust officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. for five years.

Garrison Efird, Director

Garrison Efird will help manage office and industrial tenant representation alongside firm vice chairman, Jim Cooksey. Efird is also a member of the firm’s National Technology & Innovation Practice Group, specializing in site selection, lease negotiations, and portfolio optimization of high-growth tech companies. Over his career, Efird has advised corporations on over 2.0 million square-feet and successfully negotiated over $250 million in transactions.

Dylan Gladney, Recruitment Specialist

Before he joined PGA of America’s career services team, Dylan Gladney served as a gateway logistics intern at NASA for nearly two years and as a graduate assistant for the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport at the University of Central Florida for more than one year. As a recruitment specialist for PGA’s career services department of Dallas, Gladney will help the nonprofit organization offer resources to meet hiring requirements and serve employers in the golf industry.

Kim Butler currently serves as executive vice president of the HALL Group, where she has worked for nearly twelve years. There, she leads leasing efforts for HALL Park in Frisco and previously lead the lease of KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts in Dallas. Butler succeeds past chairman Mike Ablon, the man behind much of the development in Dallas’ Design District.

Trey Morsbach, Chair-Elect and Community Investor’s Board Chair

Trey Morsbach currently leads JLL Capital Markets as executive managing director and Dallas office co-head. Morsbach also served as senior managing director at HFF for more than ten years, where he completed more than $23.5 billion in commercial real estate transactions, including the $1.1 billion Crescent Office Portfolio sale and $500 million debt advisory for Blackstone/Meristar and NorthPark Mall.

Keenan Kolendo, Secretary

Keenan Kolendo is partner and real estate practice group co-chair of Dallas-based Haynes and Boone. During his career, Kolendo has been involved in commercial real estate transactions for retail, office, senior living, and industrial projects, including leasing, acquisitions, development, financing, and disposition.

Dustin Schultz, Treasurer

Dustin Schultz is an audit and assurance partner of Deloitte & Touche, leading financial growth for the management consulting firm, where he has served as senior manager for nine years. Schultz has also worked in Deloitte’s national office for two years, where he consulted on real estate accounting and auditing matters. Schultz also currently serves as the industry professional practice director for Deloitte’s national real estate audit business.
