December was a big month for the Tooth Fairy. Katie Baird, 6 (pictured), lost two teeth and found two dollars under her pillow the next morning. This is where the story gets unusual. The Piano kindergartner took her money and sent it to Channel 13. In her letter, she thanked the station for its programs.
“She did it all on her own, ” says Katie’s mother, Jane Baird. “The only thing she asked for was a stamp. “
According to Channel 13’s subscriber services department, this is the first time anyone has ever sent the station money from the Tooth Fairy or any other extraterrestrial force. It’s enough to make you believe all over again.
