We asked Dallas tastemakers for their seasonal staples—those items that, for them, the holidays wouldn’t be complete without. Creative consultant Bradley Agather shares her favorites.

Favorite place to buy gifts: Highland Park Village—you can knock out all your turtle doves with one stone.

Favorite hostess gift: I like to bring something they can enjoy the morning after a big night. My go-to is a sleeve of Model Bakery’s English muffins. (Yes! They do indeed ship directly to the Big D!)

Best place to buy a holiday party outfit: Canary (Hot tip: stalk their Instagram stories if you want to snag your size)

Go-to holiday catering company: Art2 Catering

Go-to source for holiday tabletop and serving pieces: I’m all about a mix. My grandmother’s silver candlesticks look divine next to new favorites from Blue Print and the Ivy House.

Go-to holiday cocktail or spirit: A glass of champagne with one ice cube, s’il vous plaît!

Go-to bottle of wine for the holidays: Schramsberg Brut Rosé

Favorite holiday sweet treat: The “Santa’s Cookies” flavor from MELT Ice Creams

Favorite holiday scent: Diptyque Paris’ “Pine Tree” candle

Must-have decorative item: Handmade needlepoint stockings

Favorite holiday tradition: It’s a tradition for us to eat lunch at The Mansion on Christmas Eve. We have been doing that for as long as I can remember. I look forward to it all year.

Best place to see holiday lights: Beverly Drive
