Shop & Save At Green Living

Materialism isn’t a bad thing, especially when the materials are recycled.

DO OVER: Owners Kate Macaulay and Michael Johnson’s Green Living is an eco-friendly store full of organic finds like lovely plates and bowls made of recycled glass.

Shop & Save

At Green Living, materialism isn’t a bad thing. Especially when the materials are recycled, like the glass used in the shop’s line of jewel-toned dinnerware. Owners Kate Macaulay and Michael Johnson opened their Lakewood boutique after living overseas and observing the fragile state of the world. That translates into an adorable inventory of all-natural baby clothes, organic gardening aids, and natural-wool and recycled-nylon carpeting. Green Living’s most popular item, however, is its environment-friendly house paint. Similar to latex, the paint is void of harmful chemicals and can be mixed in more than 900 tints. Now that’s guilt-free shopping, friend. That is, until you get the bill. 1904 Abrams Parkway. 214-821-8444.
