The minute the temperature in Dallas falls below 60 degrees, nearly
every fur coat in the city is liberated from cold storage. When it
comes to the politics of whether to wear fur, Dallas women are
definitely pro-choice. They scoop up the fur-trimmed cuffs and hems
that permeated the runways this fall, and they cling lovingly to their
full-length furs.
The lavishly light Russian sable, the rarest
and most expensive of pelts, is a perfect weight for Dallas weather.
The chic Dallas woman never hesitates to throw an extraordinarily
expensive fur over her jeans and t-shirt, even—or especially—when she’s
just running to the grocery store.
