There’s not always enough time in the day to skim a lengthy, re-worded press release that’s been stamped with “breaking” or “exclusive.” And some stories don’t warrant an entire page of prose. Each week we’ll gather the most important tidbits of Dallas food news and post them here, on SideDish. Because sometimes all you need is the scoop.

Café Momentum to host Eric Nadel’s Sunday Supper Concert Series: The downtown restaurant has partnered with Texas Rangers radio announcer Eric Nadel to host a family-style dinner series.

“I’m blown away by what Café Momentum has been able to achieve with at risk youths in a very short time,” says Nadel, who was inducted into the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991.”Having a chance to support their cause and showcase my favorite emerging musical talents is an incredible opportunity for me. What could be better than the combination of exquisite food and brilliant musicians in a family atmosphere.”

The series kicks off on Sunday, November 26 with a performance by Daphne Willis. Tickets cost $85 and include food, wine, and beer. The dinner starts at 6 p.m. Reserve your spot here.

Eureka! offers new menu items: The Uptown restaurant has added a ton of new dishes to their menu. Bites include: spiced caramel popcorn with peanuts, bacon, and rosemary; cauliflower bites with bonito flakes, garlic aioli, and lemon zest; smoked salmon dip with crostini; and a short rib kimchi burger with a pork rib and angus patty, cheddar, kimchi, and garlic aioli.

There you have it.

$2 slices of pie at Greenville Avenue Pizza Company: Short and sweet news, here. On November 17, the second location of Greenville Avenue Pizza Company (1145 Peavy Rd.) will be slinging $2 two-topping slices into your mouth. That’s all.
