There’s not always enough time in the day to skim a lengthy, re-worded press release that’s been stamped with “breaking” or “exclusive.” And some stories don’t warrant an entire page of prose. Each week we’ll gather the most important tidbits of Dallas food news and post them here, on SideDish. Because sometimes all you need is the scoop.

Pōk the Raw Bar teams up with SoulCycle Uptown for free rides (and matcha): Pōk the Raw Bar is teaming up with SoulCycle Uptown. The 53,000-square-foot facility features 28 bowling lanes, lane-side food and beverage services, private VIP bowling areas, a two-level laser tag arena, rock climbing wall, high-ropes course, and hundreds of video games. According to the release:

“[The] Las Colinas venue also boasts a full-service restaurant featuring an expansive menu of chef-inspired cuisine with dishes like the Braised Beef Short Rib, featuring Revolver Blood & Honey BBQ sauce and goat cheese mashed potatoes, and the Honey Bee pizza with Italian sausage, black forest ham and drizzled with honey. The bar at PINSTACK features classic and on-trend handcraft cocktails like the Perfect Cosmopolitan and Grapefruit Gimlet in addition to keg wines, craft beer on tap, and more. Weekly specials like Monday’s Bowl + Bite Night and Wine Down Wednesdays, along with a great weekday happy hour, make Pinstack the ideal place to visit anytime.”

Eureka offers new brunch menu: The Uptown restaurant is now offering an updated brunch menu every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. According to the release:

“The all-American restaurant is…putting twists on classic dishes like bread pudding French toast with a blueberry compote and a whiskey créme anglaise; chilaquiles featuring ranchero tortilla chips, two eggs, feta, and sour cream, purple onions, avocado, and pico de gallo; and fried chicken and sweet corn bread, topped with whipped salted butter, jalapeño-infused maple glaze, and bacon.”

SusieCakes expands to Fort Worth: The popular bakery is opening its third Texas location this fall in Fort Worth’s Westbend Shopping Center in the University District. The first SusieCakes bakery opened eleven years ago in Brentwood, Los Angeles. The Fort Worth outpost will be located at 1621 River Run, Suite 151.
