California-based bakery, SusieCakes, will open its first Texas location on April 16. According to the release:
“The new Dallas store will also serve freshly baked breakfast items every morning such as sour cream coffee cake, house-made maple granola and seasonal fruit crumble muffins. Hand-crafted espresso drinks and expertly brewed single-origin coffees by local micro-roaster Cultivar Coffee will be available as well.”
“If you can’t spell it, we don’t bake with it,” says SusieCakes founder Susan Sarich in a statement. “Just like our grandmothers, we do not use any mixes, artificial preservatives, high-fructose corn syrups or trans-fats in our products. We bake our products entirely from scratch using only the freshest and finest natural ingredients…Preston Center is an ideal location for our bakery because of its close-knit community. We are excited to be welcomed as a part of that and look forward to meeting our new neighbors. Friends don’t let friends eat desserts that are anything less than spectacular.”
SusieCakes is slated to open at 6100 Luther Lane. Hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
