KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts, located in the Dallas Arts District, announced that the 16-floor downtown building has signed a new lease with Sedgwick LLP. The San-Francisco based law firm established a Dallas office in 2011.

The new tenant signed on for a speculative suite located on the building’s seventh floor that spans 4,000 square feet. Sedgwick LLP opted to stay in the downtown area, coming over from Comerica Bank Tower, and moved into its new spot last month.

With close to 80 percent of the building leased, there are still three spec suites on the seventh floor available for lease. The signing of Sedgwick marks the building’s seventh tenant and, just a couple of weeks ago, it was announced that a new Asian fusion restaurant will be joining the building.

“Our team is very excited to experience all the benefits of our new space,” Maria Karos, office managing partner of Sedgwick’s Dallas office, said in a statement. “KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts is the ideal location for us with a progressive design that showcases the office’s attitude and renewed energies as we look toward a bright future in Texas.”

Kim Butler led the leasing for the landlord, while Matt Heidelbaugh of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.
