Newlyweds Rupert Murdoch, the Australian-born media magnate, and Jerry Hall, the Mesquite-reared model and actress, turned up and turned heads in Dallas Friday night. The occasion: the 2016 “Night of Stars” gala presented by Fashion Group International Dallas at the Fashion Industry Gallery on Ross Avenue. The Dallas fashion-industry group honored Hall with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
Murdoch, an 85-year-old billionaire whose media properties include News Corp., Fox News, and 21st Century Fox, married Hall, the former main squeeze of rock star Mick Jagger, in London in March. Hall, 60, has four children with Jagger. She and the children have long been friends with Niven Morgan, who’s shown at left in the gala photo above. Morgan is a Dallas-based fragrance entrepreneur.
