Then she studied pastry at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, which must be why her macaroons—her favorite treat to make and eat, she says—linger on your palate for days. The pretty pastel pastries—meltingly delicious centers sandwiched between crisp meringue in flavors such as vanilla, pistachio, lavender, and raspberry—are eyes-rolling-back-in-your-head delicious.
