ShopTalk’s looking for a spring semester intern. It’s the perfect opportunity for a bright young thing to get behind the scenes of the magazine world and experience it through the shopping/beauty/style perspective. The description:
Here’s what we are looking for: an organized, energetic intern with writing skills and a knack for multitasking. Photography skills are a bonus. Be prepared to spend your time working on the web side of things, adding fashion and beauty-related events to our online calendar and new places to our shopping and nightlife directories, contributing to our ShopTalk shopping and beauty blog, fact-checking our shopping directory, calling stores to get information, keeping tabs on exciting sales, and researching fashion trends. We’ll also trust our intrepid intern to produce regular ShopTalk posts, assist on photo shoots, visit local boutiques to round up interesting ideas for online shopping features, pitch new story ideas, and assist with big projects, like the 10 Most Beautiful Women in Dallas. Again, writing skills are a must.
