Head to Whole Foods this weekend to find out. Rainbow Light, a supplement company, is offering up free bone scans. Stick your foot in one of their portable GE Achilles Bone Scanner machines and it’ll zap an ultrasound image of your heel. You’ll get a printout of your bone density results, which can be compared to others in your age and gender group. I’m sure you’ll be pitched a product at some point, but it’s probably worth a listen since women are losing bone density at 30 nowadays. (Check your driver’s license. That’s probably you.) If you’re one of those New Year/New You types, this is another great way to keep in touch your health this January. Head to one of the following locations from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm to take advantage of the free opportunity. If you miss the action this weekend, don’t worry. There are more options for you next weekend.
