The Dallas Flea Takes Place on Saturday

There isn’t much better than a flea market. Awesome, original, locally made things for lower-than-usual prices? That’s a winning combination. (D Home even voted it Best New Event.) I can think of only one thing that would make a flea better: champagne. One day maybe. For now, we’ll live without it and head to South Side on Lamar this Saturday. But for those of you who didn’t attend the last flea market in December, this isn’t your average, dirty, good-luck-digging-in-the-bins kind of flea market. This is curated and edited by local fashion writer Brittany Edwards and features local designers, foods, jewelry, candles, artwork, etc. You’ll find pieces from Abi Ferrin, Hip & Hippie, Jarma, The House of MacGregor, Candy Corn’s, etc. Plus, credit cards are accepted. Five bucks gets you in the door. South Side on Lamar. 1409 S. Lamar St. http://www.thedallasflea.com/. 9 am to 4 pm.
