Here’s another D Empire employee, sweet Laura Byrom. She was just a wee thing in 1988 but not young enough to have escaped the ’80s perm epidemic. At first I thought her hair was crimped (I was all about the crimper back in the day), but then I turned the picture over and saw that her mom had written “new permanent” on the back. Mystery solved. The perm strikes again.
