I’ll elaborate. Dr. Peter Malouf, esteemed dermatologist who founded the first Center for Skin and Cosmetic Dermatology (CSCD) in Fort Worth 10 years ago, has opened a new 10,000 sq. ft. office in Preston Center (right by the Einstein Bros. Bagels … mmm). It’s pretty swanky. Last night I stopped by their open house and meandered around the expansive office, not even making it to the second floor, which will be dedicated to surgical patients. And that leads me to some high praises for the practice. They’ve prioritized patient privacy by offering three different waiting areas—one for general derm. patients (teens with acne), one for aesthetic derm. patients (their moms who want laser resurfacing or Botox), and one for surgical patients (their grandmoms who’ve opted for the facelift or are employing Dr. Malouf’s expertise in Mohs surgery, which is a highly effective means of treating skin cancer).
