Full disclosure: I’ve never spent more than $16 on a pair of sunglasses. Targets, Wal-Marts, and the occasional gas station have always been my source for shades. Who could blame me? Just in the past couple of years, I’ve lost a pair here and here and will most likely lose a pair here this weekend. Which brings me to the picture on the left. There’s more than one reason this girl is about a billion times hotter than I am. Besides the skinny spray-tanned legs and the long blond locks, she’s also rocking some fab frames from the David Yurman Eyewear Collection, the likes of which cannot be found in your local Exxon Mobil. And, lucky for those of you not accustomed to slumming it like I do, there’s a trunk show Saturday at Occhiali Modern Optics featuring more styles from Mr. Yurman. Stop by the shop between noon and 5 pm to enjoy beverages and munchies and browse both sun and ophthalmic frames for men and women. While you’re doing that, I’ll be hanging with this guy. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
