C&J Farms is a family run business that specializes in the growth and distribution of fresh grown herbs, sea salts, and infused raw honey. C&J products are great for the health conscious cook who needs a little extra flavor in his or her life.
All of C&J’s herbs are grown on the farm and packaged to ensure their freshness and flavor. They bring most of their spices and sea salts in from outside sources but add them to their own herbs to make a variety of herb and sea salt blends. The olive oil dipping blend and applewood/jalapeño smoked sea salt blend are two of my favorites. The olive oil dipping blend is, of course, great with oil and bread while the applewood/jalapeño blend makes an excellent rub for grilled meats.
C&J Farms also offers infused honey for those with a sweet tooth. The lavender honey is by far my favorite. Smear almond butter on a piece of toast and drizzle it with honey to satisfy a sweet craving in a semi-healthy way.
Most of C&J products are offered in bulk and refillable containers. They are also available via wholesale to restaurants, chefs, caterers, etc. All products are available online and you can find them weekly at a few markets and trade days on the outskirts of Dallas.
