Long-standing Dallas gem The Grape has been celebrating their 42nd anniversary all week, but the big party starts tonight with a special three-course menu for $42 and an optional wine pairing upgrade by Courtney Luscher. Can’t make it tonight? They’ll continue the offer through Saturday as well. Call (214) 828-1981 for reservations.

Celebrate Halloween early at Victory Park’s third annual Halloween Bash with DJ dTrain from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Between live performances from Lollie Bombs Burlesque, tricks from a couple fire eaters, and plenty drinks to go around, it’s a great excuse to dress up like you’re five-years-old again. General admission is $20 or $50 for VIP.

Mix things up with an interactive murder mystery dinner with the Dinner Detective Dallas at Crowne plaza. Admission is $59.95 per person for the four-course meal and dinner show.

The Dallas organization Chefs for Famers continues to spread their vision of sustainability and eco-consciousness with their first annual Oyster Bash at the Dallas Farmers Market. Oyster slurping begins at 2 p.m. for and tickets cost $85.

Monday, October 27

Yes, you can have your pumpkin and drink it too. The Libertine Bar will host their annual pumpkin carving contest at 6 p.m. with judging at 9 p.m. Sign up is $10 for a pumpkin and one draught beer with proceeds going to Lindsley Park Community Schools. First place gets a whopping $100 gift certificate, which should most likely go towards more Punkel brew to celebrate the victory.
