While all you guys were busy stuffing croissant-donuts in your face, cronut creator Dominique Ansel was busy experimenting with a new invention. And this time, the New York pastry chef has done the weird-possible. His newest creation, chocolate chip cookie shots, combines America’s favorite dessert-dunking habit into one little edible cup party.
Over the weekend, Ansel’s shots debuted at Austin’s SXSW. There was a late-night Allison + Partners “Late Night Saloon Party” on Sunday, March 9, from midnight to 2 a.m.
There’s no word yet on whether the pastry king is going to call his new invention “Mookies” or “Cilk” or “Milkot.” (That last one was milk + shot, in case you didn’t know.) My vote is for ChocoChip Milkot.
