Mockingbird Station is welcoming a cupcakery, located between Rockfish and Urban Taco, on March 3. Smallcakes is a chain with more than 60 shops in 13 states, and it’s already planted a location in Southlake and Frisco, each. Pretty soon, it’ll have storefronts in Arlington, Carrollton, Denton, McKinney, and Plano.

Is Smallcakes taking over Dallas in a big way? Absolutely.

Is the cupcake trend dead yet? Clearly not.

The cupcakery promises 120 flavors of cupcakes. Every day, it’ll have 12 fresh-made varieties.

According to the press release, “Flavors range from hot fudge sundae and peanut butter and jelly, to strawberry and crème, and chocolate chip cannoli and many more. The cakes range in size from mini to large, with the most popular large size priced at $3.25 apiece.”
