Rodeo Goat Ice House Signs a Lease in the Design District

Rodeo Goat Ice House—the popular burger joint in Fort Worth owned by Keith Schlabs, Shannon Wynne, and his son—is making its move to Dallas. Specifically, the Design District. A second Rodeo Goat location will open at Market Center Boulevard, one block away from the Meddlesome Moth (another one of Wynne's restaurants).

Back in October 2013, we wrote about Rodeo Goat’s fun toppings, like the chorizo and queso fresco that goes on top of the Caca Oaxaca burger. With an awesome beer list and burgers made from 7-ounce, grass-fed beef patties, there’s no doubt this backyard-hangout will make its mark on the Dallas burger scene.

The older Wynne says, “Since the building is a ground-up project, we are hoping to be open before the end of the summer. We are currently looking to bring chef Keith Grober back over from The Goat in FW. Keith was acting sous chef at The Moth prior to moving to The Goat.”

Sounds like a plan.
