Opportunities to taste start Sunday at Ocean Prime when you can sample half price bottles in their dining room.  Chose from over 200 selections.

Monday at Perry’s there is a special dinner with Kate Derby from Spring Valley Vineyards in Walla Walla Washington.  The dinner will feature a 5 course dinner, including Foie Gras stuffed Quail wrapped in Pancetta paired with the smoky, spicy Nina Lee Spring Valley Syrah, and great stories from Kate about growing up in the vineyard.

Have you ever wanted to try Kosher wine?  Thursday night at Sigel’s Addison winemaker Joe Hurliman from Royal Wine Company will be in town to taste through his portfolio of Kosher wines.  The tasting is from 5pm-7pm, RSVP here.

If you had tickets for the Annikadinner on Sunday, April 3 with Annika Sorenstam you will have to wait until October.  The dinner and golf outing has been rescheduled to October 16th and 17th.  The official statement came in yesterday. We, of course, wish her all the best in her recovery:

Official statement from the ANNIKA Foundation:

Monday, March 21 at 6:33 p.m. EST, Annika gave birth to her second child, William Nicholas McGee.  Annika and Will are both doing fine; however, Will was born at 27 weeks weighing slightly over 2 lbs.  Annika announced this via Twitter Monday evening.

Save the date now for April 7th for a wine dinner with Kunde at Central 214.  Chef Blythe Beck has put together a farm to table focused meal highlighting the sustainably farmed Kunde wine.  The menu includes Butter Poached Lobster with Kunde 2008 Estate Chardonnay and BBQ Beef Short Ribs with Bean and Bacon Ragout with Kunde 2005 Estate Century Vines Zinfandel.

And of course, Cotes du Coeur International Fine Wine Auction and Celebrity Chef Dinner on April 9th, an event not to be missed!
