Darioush Wine Dinner at Pappas Bros.

|

Darioush ViognerThe first time I tried Dariosh Viogner was at Nana on Paul Pinnell’s recommendation. It exemplifies what is so special about Viogner–floral aromas, lucsious apricot on the palate, and a long, yummy finish. The winery in Napa is a sight to see with grand Persian-style columns adorning the entrance. The winery may be a bit over the top, but the wines produced there are spectacular. Follow the jump for wine dinner details.

Proprietor Darioush Khaledi’s passion for wine was seeded in his youth in the ancient wine growing region of Shiraz. Now he has moved from consumer, to collector, to producer, and the Darioush Estate creates handcrafted wines of the highest quality.

Pappas Bros.’ Darioush dinner will feature the amazing fruit of this ultimate vineyard estate.

This extraordinary dinner includes a five course meal, prepared by chef Michael Gaspard – each course paired with one or more Darioush handcrafted wines.
