I know – bold right? Fear not, skeptical readers, I’ve got the goods to back it up.

Local creative studio The Southern Table is settling down from their wedding-filled summer and hosting an August Floral Intensive. Creatives with all levels of floral experience are invited to the picturesque White Sparrow Barn in Quinlan, Texas on August 30 for an intimate, hands-on workshop.

The morning will be spent learning to make the kind of lush, organic, garden-style centerpiece The Southern Table has become known for. Once a masterpiece is a complete, a professional, fine art photographer will style and capture the fruits of an attendees’ labor.

Then comes lunch: gourmet catering and a Q&A session with the creative minds behind The Southern Table. Topics include starting a floral business, social media, and storytelling through styled shoots.

Finally, the afternoon session is where attendees’ creativity can truly flourish. Everyone will participate in a cohesive, garden-style editorial shoot complete with a ceremony altar installation, bridal styling, and head table layout and design. Light bites and cocktails will be passed around when the shoot has wrapped.
