The latest issue of D Home is out on newsstands now. The D Home crew is proud of this one, especially the”Made in Dallas” feature showcasing some of the coolest local people making unique things. We interviewed and photographed a group of artists who are truly making this city a more exciting place. You’ll find taxidermy art, geode boxes, gun lamps, and more.  Click here for the story.

Gracing the cover is designer Gonzalo Bueno’s hidden jewel in West Highland Park. His home is filled with an exciting art collection (read: an unusual sculpture made from the blood and hair of artist Paula Santiago).  Also be sure to check out his exotic collectibles–he’ll make you think twice about taking on a boring ol’ penny collection and striving for something edgier.

Jennifer and Scott Roberts’ Highland Park home has a California vibe with family-centric elements. The duo at Breckinridge Taylor hooked them up with a pad that is liveable and pretty.

We hope you’re inspired by the issue. As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
