We know you were on the edge of your seat watching last night’s episode of American Idol, but we are here to remind you that Dallas’ own Dalton Rapattoni has made it into the top 10 of the show’s final season. In fact, Rapattoni was the judges’ first pick. That means Rapattoni will be on the Idol stage, performing for your viewing and judging pleasure tonight, for the season’s first live show.
In this final season, the American Idol producers have been throwing viewers (and contestants) for some loops. On Wednesday night’s final pre-recorded show, the judges saved four contestants, including Rapattoni, Olivia Rox, Trent Harmon, and La’Porsha Renae, leaving the audience to vote in six of the remaining contestants to fill out the top 10. Those results will be announced on tonight’s show, followed by performances from each of the contestants.
But that’s not all. Last night it was revealed that there will be yet another elimination round tonight. So, even though Rapattoni has made it to the top 10, there is still a possibility he could be eliminated. Rapattoni himself is begging for your vote. So, if you want Dallas to be represented for the remainder of the season and become the city the final American Idol calls home, vote for Rapattoni.
