A few weeks ago, Westlake resident Glenn Beck announced plans to start his own colony “city/theme park,” an Ayn Rand-inspired haven dubbed Independence, USA. The location of said Galt’s Gulch has not yet been revealed, though most of us here are crossing our fingers and hoping it’s in North Texas so we can keep covering it.
