Awhile back, Zac made a quick trip to New York to interview Alicia Keys for American Way. When he returned, he talked about her pretty much nonstop. It was obvious to all us that he’d fallen in love. Well, here’s the product of that one-sided crush, the story he wrote for the magazine. (Kidding aside, it’s a really well-crafted piece. I especially enjoyed the way Zac worked into the story a random reward flier for a lost phone that he saw taped to a pole on Broadway.)
