Texas May Be In the Political Catbird’s Seat

|

Those of us who argued against moving the Texas primary forward to Super-Duper Tuesday (Feb. 5th) may — and in this crazy political season, “may” is the operative word — turn out to be the Nostradamuses of our time (as opposed to others who shall not be named). Romney winning Michigan and leading in Nevada, McCain leading in South Carolina and New Jersey, Guiliani fighting for his life in Florida, Obama set to win South Carolina and perhaps sweep the Deep South, Clinton sure to win New York and New Jersey, and California’s delegates up for grabs could make Texas the political hotspot of the nation on March 4th. For political junkies, this is pure delight.
