Adventures in Commuting

|

A commuting FrontBurnvervian spotted something you don’t see every day on the way to work:

Heading northbound on the Tollway around 7:45 am this morning, I spied a huge cloud of thick black smoke coming from what appeared to be the Mary Kay offices. As I passed the building and looked, I saw that it wasn’t the building itself, but a pick-up truck (Ford F150, probably) engulfed in a giant fireball. The driver’s door was wide open and flames were pouring out of it, which seemed strange to me for some reason. Hopefully whoever was in there made a safe escape. Fire crews were already on the scene, but it seemed like they were still trying to figure out the best way to put out the blaze.

If you were the driver of that pick-up truck, please email Tim.
