I shouldn’t rag on those wacky deejays too much. Yes, it was a stupid and destructive gag, but nearly as stupid or destructive as the woman in this anecdote, from a radio-working FrontBurnervian:
On Wednesday morning, after the Heat’s “big win,” we had on our air a morning team from (i think) one of our sister radio stations down there, and the chic said (ON OUR AIR) that Heat fans were wearing white to resemble the KKK so that Dallas fans would feel right at home. Classy.
