I happened to catch a bit of Saturday’s NBC 5 weekend newscast. The lead story was the shooting in downtown Dallas. I can’t find the clip here, but perhaps you saw it. And if you did see it, perhaps you, too, wondered if it was appropriate for the reporter to check his BlackBerry while reporting. It made for some momentary awkwardness, but not as noteworthy as the end of the segment when the reporter was on film, not saying anything until finally telling someone off camera, “This battery’s dead.” Also odd? The witness who reenacted the shooter running away from the crowd and firing back into it.
Where’s YouTube when you need it?
