This is a little goofy. They make it sound like my wife is writing for Neighbors. Which I guess she is. Kinda. She handles PR for our son’s school, Hexter. Yesterday, I think it was, she sent out an e-mail letting everyone know how good the school’s TAKS scores were. Then it winds up on the Neighbors blog as “breaking news.” Call it what you will. I call it hard-nosed reporting on my wife’s part and brilliant prose to boot. Because even though my mother-in-law is in town and staying with us tonight, I’m still hoping to get lucky.
