I’m not afraid to admit that I could watch Antiques Roadshow for hours. And there’s another delightful show called Cash in the Attic on BBC and HGTV that makes me giddy. I just love to watch people make cash on their “junk.” Sadly, I have no antiques or heirlooms to speak of, but if you do, and you’d like to have an expert appraise them, head to D Home‘s Second Annual Antique Appraisal Day on May 20 at Dallas Auction Gallery (1518 Slocum St.). Ticket prices are for appraisals (two items for $25 or three items for $40), so take that crazy little teapot that great aunt Edna left you and see if it’s as special as she said. Even more good news: proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Go here or call 214-653-3900 for more information.
