The Dallas Theater League held its 11th annual Leon Rabin Awards ceremony last night. In case you didn’t know, the Rabin Awards honor excellence in the local theater scene–everything from sound design to musical number. A cocktail reception for the event started at 6:00, the awards ceremony at 7:30. Congrats to all of the winners. To those winners who won later in the evening–later than, say, 10:30–I’m so sorry I missed your acceptance speech. To those of you who stayed until the end of the ceremony, which I projected to be after midnight, you deserve an award of your own.
