Last May, Marcus asked the DA’s office to investigate his personal secretary, ALICE GILBREATH SNAVELY, who was later charged with misappropriation of more than $650,000. In July, just one day before the case was presented to the grand jury, Marcus withdrew the charges, saying that “restitution1’ had been made. It’s nice that they could patch things up. but Marcus wasted the DA’s time-and the taxpayers’ money.
