Was That the Best Time of Year to Go? Yes, because it was not too hot. The temperature was just right.
Why I Went There: I found out the day before our last trip to this island in 2009 that I was pregnant. My spouse and I had tried for seven years, so we wanted to bring our son to show him our happiness.
Who Went With Me? My husband Chris and my 3-year-old son Amari.
We Stayed Here: The Hilton Garden Inn

Just relax, watch your children smile, your spouse smile, while you’re humble. Make sure you visit all the stores for souvenirs.
Eat Here: They have nothing really special, just Mexican restaurants, Denny’s, McDonald’s, etc. The food from the hotel will be your best bet.
Play Here: At the beach
If I Went Again: I’d stay at least two weeks.
How Did You Get There From Dallas? Drive Interstate 35 and U.S. 77, south.
Other Tips For Fellow Travelers: It has a lot of fun areas around, such as waterparks, and stores that I will browse next time.
