Hot Property: A Resort-Style Home Overlooking White Rock Lake

Last week, I said something along the lines of “dependability is hot,” and while I do stand by that sentiment, sometimes “hot” just means really, really, ridiculously good looking. Take 4001 W Lawther Drive, which is subjectively (but really more objectively) a very sexy house. Who could argue with sweeping views of White Rock Lake, manicured grounds, a glassy pool surrounded by fireplaces, and koi ponds? Who would do such a thing? This koi pond is cooler than most!

And sure, the price tag is hefty to say the least, but the sprawling home makes great use of its 10,000 square feet. There are five bedrooms (four of which are suites), six full bathrooms, a billiard room, a legit-looking gym with a sauna, multiple wet bars (they’re everywhere), and a guest house. I’m not crazy about great rooms in general (they make me feel small), but the towering windows of 4001 W Lawther’s great room convinced me to make an exception.

Honestly, it’s all very romantic. From the tree swing overlooking White Rock Lake and Trail to the seemingly endless number of fireplaces (both indoors and out), 4001 W Lawther Drive is what Dallas real estate dreams are made of.
